KDrama Review: Gu Family Book

How are you guys doing? You know, I have not written a long review since I watched Fashion King (you won’t find the review but just know that it was not good and you’ll end up feeling cheated). Anyway, this review is about the Gu Family Book . The cast consist of a few of my favorites: Lee Seoung Gi, King to Hearts ; Choi Jin Hyuk, Panda and Hedgehog ; Bae Suzy (who was good in Big and who started out sort of bland in this drama ended up giving a semi standing ovation in later episodes. Yes, she got better) Sung Joon, who was the lead in Shut up Flower Boy Band (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and shall I say, new favorites? Like, Lee Sung Jae who was a horrible demon in this drama but an excellent actor over all. I hated him so much in Gu that I kept punching my pillow imagining it as his face. He was that good! Lee Yoo Bi was great in her part, although the writer did make her a tad wishy washy or indecisive. I mean you had a guy, whom you liked, that was obviously into you

Floral Print Fashion

Hi All! :) I know, I know...I have not been very active here, have I? Lol. What can I say? I haven't had much to talk about, if anything at all. Originally  I thought about doing some fashion posts but I wasn't sure if I wanted to blog or post about fashion and clothing that I, myself, did not wear. But then that does take the whole point out of writing about fashion in general, now doesn't it? No worries. Soon, I will be posting more, and more or some and some, later on. :) I have not yet been to the movies so, I can't write a review (silly, huh?). I have not been following the latest trend, to post anyway. I've been kinda busy here trying to come up with some interesting designs for fashion. Yes, I am a "designer" if that is what you want to call it, lol. My designs, however, are a little...well....how do you say, "Eh"? Lol. Well let us just say that Alexander McQueen and Coco Chanel would be proud. :p But understand, this is not a fashio

King 2 Hearts: My Thoughts...

As some of you may already know, I have a fixative interest in countries and cultures. And currently, it is Korea, hell Asia. I just finished watching King to Hearts, which is a South Korean drama about the unity of North and South Korea. Now about the drama: It was gripping...I could not get enough of it. I found myself saying, "damn, this drama is so good. Maybe I should wait till school is over to complete it. Yeah, yeah, I should." Then, with each episode, I end up watching the next one...and the next one and the next one... until I finished it".  How disappointing in myself I was. lol. But I was glad that I watched it. Being as I am, I am pro- unity. The consept of the series was  indeed an astonishing one. One of my many favorite actors, Lee Seung Gi, did an excellent job in portraying the King of South Korea who came to face many obsticles but never gave up in securing the Unity of the North and South. One Self Portrait

I have decided to start taking self portraits  I do not know how it would turn out but I am guessing it might be good. Of course I have to make it look nice. What I plan to do is basically anything and everything. Perhaps. I might even consider some exaggerations.  I  am not really sure of the complete out come of the images. Maybe one shoot per month? Hmm...I guess we will have to just see. Stay Tuned! :) _________________ Update: April 6, 2013 Here is one! :)

Kim Bumie. Love Your Tie!

As I fan girl, I was browsing through images of Lee Min and came across an image of one of his friends and co-actor, Kim Bum. I spotted this tie because it caught my eye, not because it was Kim Bum, I swear. stylekandi.com Anyway. I was looking at the tie and thought about how I could definitely wear it. I was thinking about a beautiful pair of boots that was named after me by Aldo Shoes. Yes it was, that is exactly how you spell my name. Hmph. Cyndi by Aldo Now, the lovely boots named after me, lol, can be worn with a black knee length skirt (your choice) but it has to be knee length. It would not do any good to turn a classy, sophisticated look into something tramp-y. No mini skirts or anything like that! No! Keep it clean. :) But if you have lovely legs, them by all means, show it. Ha...yea yea yea, biased, but please, no butt showing! What kind of shirt? A sexy sheer or solid button down shirt. Something like... Studded Chiffon Shirt by forever21 or somethin

Rock A Y.St.Laurent!

If you plan to "imitate": this look, I suggest finding something similar that won't cost you your rent money. The brand is specifically up to you. Here are some tips: Heart Shape Print Shirt by St. Laurent With a legging, un-tucked and with a solid colored belt. Be bold about it, I dare you! I'm a True Tomboy.

The Classic Style: Bianca Jagger! :) Bianca Jagger What these women have on are the wedge pant suits. I used to love these (and still do), why? Because it looks cool. Lol. No, really, it is simply the fact that I am a tomboy that I just fall in love with men's clothing coupled with women's wear, I look freaking sexy. LOL! I am just being silly... Never wore skirts nor ever showed some skin. But of course, I would wear them considering the occasions. I can probably relate more to Katharine Hepburn. She definitely had my sense of style. But I think people might question this kind of style, non? As I read Jaynie's blog page about Katrine Hepburn , I wondered what might really go on in people's mind. Anyway. Here is a taste of what Hepburn's style is:

Trugen: Seriously, Nice!

I was looking through Trugen's SS 2013 Fashion line as well as the S+ By Trugen.  So I will use this post to "praise and promote," HA! Sorry, I really like this line. One other fav that I used to have was Polo for Men. I now prefer their shoes. However, my newest (not really, waayyy before discovering Trugen) is Armani (all lines). Sigh... So anyhoo... The two lines are completely different and aims for different audiences (as far as I can tell).  And what I have noticed is that SS (Spring/Summer) 2013 line is slightly similar to the Fall 2010 line but only with a slight upgrade. The style is still superior.  Maybe because Lee Min Ho is wearing them it looks a bit too natural.  I do like the blends of earth tones and deep colours in each outfit. The casual look on the SS line is more relaxed and more suited for the club scene. It can work in any setting. But you'd have to know how to wear it. Trugen Men's Fashion (Can I Wear It, Too?)

Maybe it is me, but there is something I came to love about Trugen in Men's fashion. Trugen is one of South Korea hottest fashion for men. It is most likely targeted toward the wealthy (or people who can afford or can not afford but still tries to buy) that came to my attention when I saw Lee Min Ho wearing the clothing. Something about it sparked my interest in semi-casual men's wear. I won't lie, perhaps it is because Lee Min Ho is rocking the Trugen clothing or maybe because I am a mini-fan girl. Whatever the reason, I think Trugen is probably one of the neatest men's fashion that I would wear myself.   Yes people, I do like wearing men's clothing. I can rock it. :) To be honest, sometimes women's clothing is bit too girly for my taste. Check out some of the fashion wears at  Soompi  for the fall 2010 line. If it were up to me, I would probably fill my closet with half of the outfits from the Fall 10 line. It is just me. Of course, I would
